Cardinals expected to host CB Leon Hall on Monday

TEMPE, Ariz. -- All was relatively quiet on the Arizona Cardinals’ home front Friday.

As free agency entered the weekend, the only news out of the Cardinals was the impending visit from former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Leon Hall on Monday, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Hall, 31, is coming off a season in which he played mainly in the slot, and typically as the Bengals’ nickel corner. He suffered a back injury last year that caused him to miss one game. He had 55 tackles in 2015 and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown. One of Hall’s interceptions was against Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer in Week 11.

He’s returned from two Achilles injuries, in 2011 and 2013, and has played nine seasons.

In other Cardinals news, former linebacker Sean Weatherspoon signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

And according to Schefter, former tight end Jermaine Gresham visited the New York Jets a day after visiting with the Chicago Bears.
