TEMPE, Ariz. -- Chris Johnson won't have to wait to get paid this season.

After signing an incentive-rich contract in 2015, Johnson received most of the $1.5 million one-year deal he signed with the Arizona Cardinals up front.

Here's a breakdown of his one-year contract, according to ESPN Stats & Information:

2016: Johnson's base salary will be $885,000 -- of which $385,000 is fully guaranteed. He also received a $615,000 signing bonus, which raised his fully guaranteed total to $1 million.
