Tyrann Mathieu to miss third game in last four weeks

TEMPE, Ariz. – A sore shoulder will keep Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu out of his third game in the last four weeks.

The Honey Badger was ruled inactive for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins. He missed practice Thursday and Friday after experiencing soreness in his shoulder, which he injured in Week 8 at Carolina.

Mathieu missed Arizona’s Week 10 and 11 games before returning last week. He has 29 tackles, one interception and a forced fumble this season.

Joining Mathieu as inactive on Sunday are WR Marquis Bundy, LB Sio Moore, G Cole Toner, DT Olsen Pierre, DT Robert Nkemdiche and DT Ed Stinson. Nkemdiche is inactive for the fourth straight game.
