Robert Nkemdiche sits out practice with elbow injury

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Robert Nkemdiche's disappointing rookie season with the Arizona Cardinals continued Thursday as an elbow injury that had him limited in Wednesday's practice kept him out Thursday.

He's been inactive the past four games.

Also not practicing Thursday were safety Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder), linebacker Markus Golden (hamstring) and cornerback Tharold Simon (ankle).

Quarterback Carson Palmer, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and defensive tackle Frostee Rucker were all full participants Thursday after getting a veteran day off Wednesday. Cornerback Patrick Peterson (knee) and defensive tackle Corey Peters (foot) were upgraded to full.

Wide receiver John Brown (illness) was upgraded to limited, as coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday.

Limited, again, was cornerback Justin Bethel (foot).
