JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones set a franchise record with his 116th reception of the season during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The record came on a 12-yard reception.

Jones entered the contest with a league-leading 109 receptions. The franchise single-season record was 115, set by teammate Roddy White in 2010.

The NFL record for receptions in a season is 143, set by Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts in 2002.

Jones catch total on Sunday included a 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter, ending a five-game scoreless drought.
