Ravens without 15 players for Saturday's practice

The Baltimore Ravens were without 15 players on their 90-man roster on Saturday, when they held their first full practice since Thursday's preseason opener.

The most notable players absent were: cornerbacks Lardarius Webb and Asa Jackson along with three of their top receivers in Kamar Aiken, Marlon Brown and Breshad Perriman.

Webb tweaked his hamstring earlier in the week and didn't play Thursday despite suiting up for the game, and Jackson hurt his knee in the second quarter of the preseason game. The Ravens didn't report an injury for Aiken even though it looked like he got banged up in the preseason game, and Brown has been dealing with back and hamstring issues. Perriman hasn't practiced since injuring his knee in the first day of training camp (July 30).

The good news for the Ravens was the return of defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan. He hadn't practiced in a week after injuring his foot.

Others not present for the Ravens: G John Urschel (concussion), G Robert Myers (concussion), SS Matt Elam (biceps), DE Brent Urban (biceps), DE DeAngelo Tyson (elbow), LB Steven Means (undisclosed), TE Allen Reisner (ankle surgery) and OT Darryl Baldwin. Tight end Dennis Pitta (hip) and safety Terrence Brooks (knee) are on the physically unable to perform list.
