Ravens' Joe Flacco still having trouble with interceptions on the road

PITTSBURGH -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has a habit of throwing to the other team when on the road, and that trend continued in the first half Thursday night.

Flacco killed momentum and took points away from the Ravens in the second quarter, when he was picked off by cornerback Ross Cockrell. He locked onto Steve Smith on a third-down pass and paid for it when Cockrell jumped a route on the outside.

That was Flacco's 27th interception on the road since 2013, which are six more than any other quarterback in the league over that span. Only Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers have thrown 20 more more interceptions away from home over that span.

This was also Flacco's fifth interception of the season. He didn't throw his fifth interception in 2014 until the seventh game of the season.
