OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The first round of the 2016 NFL draft couldn't have been more opposite for the top two offensive tackles.
For Ronnie Stanley, Thursday night represented a dream of getting drafted in the top 10. For Laremy Tunsil, it was a nightmare fall to No. 13 after an embarrassing tweet surfaced minutes before the draft started.
Stanley said he felt bad for the player who many predicted would be taken ahead of him.
"It sucks what happened to Laremy, especially the timing of it all," Stanley said.
Stanley, who said he is moderately active on social media, put up eight posts over the last three days on Twitter, which ranged from a picture of him and his mother to playing foosball at the Shriners Children's Hospital to telling the Ravens' account that he's allergic to crab cakes.
"You definitely have to be responsible," he said. "It's a lesson for all the guys. You really have to be responsible for the things you record and the things you put on your phone."
