Ravens' Ronnie Stanley is doubtful against Redskins

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley never missed a game at Notre Dame. Now, he will likely be sidelined for his second NFL game.

Stanley, the No. 6 overall pick in this year's draft, is listed as doubtful with a foot injury for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. He hasn't practiced for the past two weeks.

The Ravens are expected to go with another rookie, fourth-rounder Alex Lewis, at left tackle.

"You’ve just got to know where your help is at tackle, especially rookies," Lewis said. "I expect a little help, but at the same time, you’ve got to understand that when they call you to be on an island, you’ve got to go back to your fundamentals. It doesn’t really matter what the guy across from you is doing. It’s sticking to your fundamentals and doing your technique and getting your job done."

Ravens rookie running back Kenneth Dixon is to make his NFL debut. He has participated in every practice this week. Dixon will likely back up Terrance West on Sunday.
