Poll: Confidence level in Tyrod Taylor

Tyrod Taylor has been the Baltimore Ravens' backup quarterback for the past three years. There's a question as to whether or not he'll hold down the No. 2 job behind Joe Flacco for a fourth one.

The Ravens' backup quarterback position has become a talking point since the team reportedly expressed interest in Brandon Weeden before he signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

Taylor's future became more uncertain last week, when coach John Harbaugh said he's been "a little disappointed" in how Taylor has played in games.

“We feel like he’s a lot better than he’s showed," Harbaugh said. "I know he feels that way, too.”

The Ravens likely will add a quarterback to compete with Taylor either in free agency or the draft. The top remaining free-agent quarterbacks are: Matt Flynn, Josh Freeman, Rex Grossman, Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy, Brady Quinn and Dan Orlovsky.

In the draft, quarterback prospects expected to be available in the fourth round or later are: LSU's Zach Mettenberger, Georgia's Aaron Murray, Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas and Pittsburgh's Tom Savage.

"Competition, I never shy away from that," Taylor told reporters last weekend at Torrey Smith's charity basketball event. "That’s the name of this game.”
