The Big 12 had eight players named consensus All-Americans in 2010, the most of any conference.
To earn the honor, players must occupy the most All-American spots at their position on the five recognized All-American teams: The American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, The Sporting News and Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Here are the players who earned the honor:
Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska
Michael Egnew, TE, Missouri
Quinton Carter, S, Oklahoma
Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma
Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Kendall Hunter, RB, Oklahoma State
Von Miller, LB, Texas A&M
That number is one shy of the conference record of nine set in 2008, but the league has 32 in the past four seasons, and its 89 since the league's birth in 1996 are the most of any league in the same span.
