One last look at spring game attendance

Kansas and Kansas State capped off the Big 12 spring on Saturday with their spring games.

If you missed it, here's what we learned from the Wildcats, and from their Sunflower State neighbors.

Neither topped 10,000 fans, but now that the spring is over, here's a look at how the Kansas teams fit into the rest of the Big 12 when it came to spring-game attendance.

1. Texas - 30,000

2. Oklahoma - 26,598

3. Texas A&M - 16,500

4. Oklahoma State - 16,000

5. Texas Tech - 12,400

6. Missouri - 10,000

7. Kansas State - 8,594

8. Kansas - 6,000

9. Iowa State - 4,000

10. Baylor - 3,500

It shouldn't come as a surprise that those numbers are fairly reflective of historical success, but this year, nobody in the league is anywhere close to the top of college football. Here's a few of the best totals for spring games this year.

  • Alabama: 92,310

  • Nebraska: 66,784

  • Florida State: 53,818

  • Auburn: 53,209

  • Florida: 51,000

Oregon also set a Pac-10 record on Saturday with 43,468 fans.
