Charlie Strong's squad tumbled out of the projections after another embarrassing loss to BYU, and its upcoming schedule of UCLA, Kansas, Baylor and Oklahoma leaves little reason for hope. Meanwhile, West Virginia responded to a loss to Alabama with an impressive win over Towson, leapfrogging Oklahoma State.

It's a big week for the conference as a whole with several quality nonconference battles in Week 3, so expect the landscape to change again next weekend.
