Kevin White has made his dreams come true despite some doubts, writes John Harris of the Pittsburgh Tribune.
The former West Virginia receiver is set to become a high NFL draft pick despite losing a year while at junior college due to paperwork and an up-and-down junior season. It's been great to see White become a player who is approaching his potential.
He was an enigma as a junior. His NFL-level talent was obvious but he wasn't consistent, dominant or exceptional. His seven receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns against Baylor in 2013 was a glimpse at the talent he finally displayed on a consistent basis as a senior. He had 109 catches for 1,447 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. More than any other Big 12 potential draftee, I think it is critical White lands with a solid organization.
