Big East recruiting scorecard

It was a busy week in recruiting, with several Big East schools picking up multiple commitments.

There are also several schools in the mix for some of the top running backs in the country. ESPN Recruiting nation gives you an update with where those players stand.

Now, Here is an updated look at the Big East recruiting scorecard.


2013 verbal commitments: 8

Spotlight: The Bearcats got five commitments this week, including one from three-star Ohio receiver Mykel Traylor-Bennett and three-star Cincinnati linebacker Rasheen Jones.


2013 verbal commitments: 5

Spotlight: The Huskies went deep into the heart of Texas to secure a commitment from quarterback Richard Lagow out of Plano, ranked No. 32 at his position. They also got a commitment this week from receiver Dhahmeer Bradley.


2013 verbal commitments: 9

Spotlight: No commits this week, but the Cardinals continue to lead the Big East both in total commitments and commitments from four-star prospects with two.


2013 verbal commitments: 5

Spotlight: Safety Tony Harper out of Toledo, Ohio, committed this week. He is going to be converted to tight end/H-back.


2013 verbal commitments: 6

Spotlight: Two New Jersey players committed this week -- defensive end Eric Wiafe and safety T.J. Taylor. Neither are ranked by ESPN Recruiting nation.


2013 verbal commitments: 3

Spotlight: The latest commitment comes from three-star offensive tackle Cameron Fraser out of Alabama.


2013 verbal commitments: 7

Spotlight: The Orange also got several commitments this week, including one from three-star linebacker Devan Carter. Linebacker Marqez Hodge and defensive tackle Isaiah Johnson also pledged their commitment. Milford Academy running back Charles Davis said earlier this week he had committed to the team, but later rescinded his statement.

Spotlight: The Owls' latest commitment is two-star defensive tackle Tyler Haddock out of Pennsylvania.
