Former Louisville fullback Joe Tronzo has been hired as the color analyst on the Cardinals' radio broadcast team for the upcoming season.
Tronzo played for the Cardinals from 2006-09, and appeared in 49 career games. He joins Paul Rogers in the booth. Doug Ormay remains on the sideline this season.
“I’m excited to continue to be affiliated with the football program,” Tronzo said in a statement. "I’m honored to work with a talent like Paul Rogers. I’m thrilled to be able to be involved with the football program during these exciting times, and I’m excited to be able to bring my knowledge of football to the loyal Cardinal fans.”
Tronzo replaces Tony Stallings, who stepped down to focus on his acting career.
