Berry expected back for Syracuse game

West Virginia defensive lineman Scooter Berry should return for this week's game at Syracuse, coach Bill Stewart said Tuesday.

"We are counting on that," Stewart said.

Berry has missed the previous two games, against Colorado and Auburn, with a shoulder injury. Stewart said the team is largely injury-free at this point as it begins Big East play.

"The seven most important games are soon to be upon us," Stewart said. "We start Saturday in Syracuse with the first of those seven, and that is how we are approaching it."
