Penn State is being very cautious about how much senior quarterback Daryll Clark runs the ball, which certainly seems like the wise choice. Arguably no player in the Big Ten is more valuable to his team than Clark, who has already sustained three concussions in his football career.
Clark's rushing attempts likely will drop this season, but he shouldn't be afraid to use his legs in the pocket.
According to the fine folks at ESPN Stats & Information, Clark should attack Iowa with rollouts and bootlegs on Saturday night (ABC, 8 p.m. ET).
