Boston's rookie Big 3 helps Maine; Young scores 31 in D-League

The Boston Celtics assigned their entire rookie class to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League on Thursday and the trio of Marcus Smart, James Young, and Dwight Powell helped the team to a 110-106 triumph over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Young scored 31 points on 9-of-15 shooting with seven 3-pointers while also grabbing nine rebounds. Powell added 21 points, while Smart (6 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds) got much-needed game reps working his way back from a left ankle injury.
