Rookie point guard Tim Frazier, who camped with the Boston Celtics and has spent most of the season as an affiliated player in Maine, has returned to the Red Claws after his 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers expired.
Frazier is expected in uniform for Tuesday's game versus Fort Wayne.
Frazier was the first member of the Claws to get an NBA call-up this season. With the 76ers, he appeared in three games (including his debut against Boston) while averaging 5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists over 35.7 minutes per game.
In 27 games with the Red Claws, Frazier has averaged 15.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game. He has two triple-doubles this season and has twice won the NBA Development League performer of the week honor.
After his second 10-day contract expired on Wednesday, the Celtics did not sign Andre Dawkins to a rest-of-the-season deal. He has instead returned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
In seven games with Maine while assigned from Boston, Dawkins averaged 16.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Dawkins did not make an appearance with the Celtics despite being with the team for a couple of games.
