BC High's McShea decommits from Temple

ESPN's Roger Brown is reporting that Boston College High tight end/defensive end Jameson McShea is no longer committed to Temple University for the fall of 2012.

He's now strongly considering Dartmouth, Harvard, Boston College and Maryland, however he only holds an offer from Harvard. McShea has many Division 1 FCS options, with Elon, Fordham, Holy Cross, Maine and New Hampshire all offering him.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Cotuit native was integral part of the Eagles' Division 1 Super Bowl championship season on both sides of the ball, racking up 68 tackles (12 for loss) and throwing some vicious blocks in run support. He was named the Catholic Conference's Lineman of the Year, and last week was named to ESPN Boston's MIAA All-State Team.
