WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley shocked the Bay State Conference and the state when the Raiders disrupted Natick's perfect season with a 40-34 win over the Red Hawks on Saturday.
In the Raiders' victory, senior quarterback Chris Sarni completed 18 of 24 pass attempts for 280 yards and three touchdowns, while adding another 140 yards on the ground and three rushing touchdowns.
In honor of that eye-popping stat line, Sarni was named our Massachusetts Army National Guard Player of the Week for Week 9.
