Nashoba proved that you can still win with the Wing-T in 2015. The Chieftains used a balanced attack to beat Reading 27-13 and win the Division 2 State Championship.
Nashoba running back Jacob Benjamin rushed 22 times for 135 yards and one touchdown in the win, while quarterback Robert Atwood was efficient in the passing game, completing two long play-action passes for touchdowns. Tubby Raymond would have been proud of Nashoba's game plan today.
Staple Play: Nashoba ran the Buck Sweep to perfection in the first half. The wing and tight end set the edge and their guards did a great job of getting outside and sealing the edge. Jacobson did a great job staying patient; he got to the sideline, and accelerated. You don't see this play anymore. It was great to see Nashoba dust it off and use it.

Keep Pass: Nashoba did a great job of keeping Reading off balance by running the football and utilizing their play-action passing game. They scored their second touchdown of the game on a keep pass. They faked Fullback Belly and Atwood hit the wing down the seam for the touchdown. Nashoba did a great job keeping Reading's linebackers off balance all game long.
