BROCKTON, Mass. -- In one of the best finishes for a state final in recent MIAA baseball history, Braintree walked off as back-to-back Division 1A state champs thanks to Alex Kennedy's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth in Game 2 of last night's Super 8 Final.

Braintree's Scott Creedon, after picking up his third complete-game win of the tournament, took home ESPNBoston's Super 8 MVP award for the second straight year.

ESPNBoston High Schools editor Brendan C. Hall recaps all of last night's action alongside editorial assistant Nate Weitzer, and looks ahead to the forthcoming Mr. Baseball announcment.
