Junior Seau plans to retire

Linebacker Junior Seau appears on Showtime's Inside the NFL program tonight (9 p.m.), and he is asked if he has another NFL season in him.

"Whatever happens, I can say, honestly say, that that probably was my last game," Seau tells host Cris Collinsworth, before confirming the Patriots' 33-14 loss to the Ravens was his final contest.

Seau's final season in New England saw him serve as a pre-game motivator, as he would give speeches to the team before it took the field. He was the top backup at inside linebacker, playing 12 percent of the team's snaps while appearing in six regular-season games. He finished with 13 tackles and one fumble recovery.

As for Seau's plans now, he told Collinsworth he plans to do a lot of surfing.
