Matt Light On Mike & Mike In The Morning (8:18)

Light on what it's like to go to the Super Bowl, and who he thinks has the edge (8:18)

Patriots left tackle Matt Light is making a tour through ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., campus today, and his schedule includes appearances on “Mike & Mike in the Morning”, “First Take” and “The Herd”, among others.

He also chatted on ESPNBoston.com today at 12:40.

Light’s “Mike & Mike” appearance can be recapped, podcast-style, here.

As part of the interview, Light revealed that the injury suffered this year against Denver was a dislocated kneecap and that the injury also “got a little bit of the MCL.”

He touched on the disappointing end of the Patriots’ season in the playoffs, and one of the goals going forward.

“As players, we all talked about it after the game. We were in the locker room and there were a lot of guys hanging their head and it’s a tough situation,” Light said. “We know we have good guys, quality players. But we have to be a more physical team, a mentally tougher team. We have to be guys that act like we’ve been there and done it before.”
