Patriots receiver Randy Moss is one of the more remarkable athletes to ever play in the NFL.
As he has in the past, a big part of his offseason has been spent training with Tim Martin in South Florida. Moss is putting together a documentary and part of it is now available on DraftNasty.com.
In "Feeling the Heat", Moss provides an inside look at how he trains. One of the things that interested me is that it has an old-school feel to it, almost Rocky-eque.
Jumping in and out of a trash barrel.
Pulling a heavy chain to work on his ankles.
Catching a tennis ball while Martin stands atop a trash barrel to work on hand-eye coordination.
"Looking like 21 and feeling like 21 is a big difference," Moss says in the video. "There's nothing easy about being a professional athlete."
At Patriots organized team activities, Moss has appeared to be in tip-top shape. This video from what Moss calls "the dirty South" reflects, in part, why that is the case.
