ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss, entering the last year of his contract, hired Joel Segal as his new agent Thursday, according to a league source.
After firing his longtime agent this spring, Moss interviewed multiple top agents and recently chose Segal, who has negotiated many deals with the Patriots.
The 33-year-old veteran had 13 touchdowns on 83 catches for the Patriots in 2009. In three seasons in New England, Moss has racked up 47 touchdowns, 250 receptions and 3,765 yards. Moss spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings before going to the Oakland Raiders in 2005 and finally the Patriots in 2007.
