Cunningham agrees to 4-year pact

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Patriots reached agreement Saturday night with former Florida outside linebacker Jermaine Cunningham on a four-year contract, according to a league source.

The 6-foot-3, 266-pound Cunningham was drafted 53rd overall by New England.

Cunningham is the first of three Patriots second-round draft picks to wrap up his deal. It's expected that tight end Rob Gronkowski and linebacker Brandon Spikes will also sign contracts by the end of the weekend.
