Tuesday Patriots Camp Report (1:03)

ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss with a recap of the day as the Patriots held a joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons. (1:03)

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- At the end of every day of training camp, ESPNBoston.com will post one blog entry highlighting the key news of the day:

Tom Brady has 'no concerns'. The quarterback spoke with reporters following the morning practice against the Falcons and said he "feels great" and has "no concerns" from a health perspective. Brady said he is not limiting his throws in training camp this year.

Wes Welker makes the trip. Receiver Wes Welker made the trip with the team, giving him a chance to play Thursday night against the Falcons. Welker was held out of the preseason opener against the Saints.

Tully Banta-Cain, Jermaine Cunningham among 13 who don't travel. Outside linebackers Tully Banta-Cain and Jermaine Cunningham were among a group of 13 players who did not travel, and thus, will not play Thursday. Their absence highlights depth concerns at outside linebacker and on the overall roster. The Patriots are practicing with about 65 players, which is thin for this time of year. The injury ranks might have grown by one in the afternoon practice when defensive lineman Myror Pryor left practice with what appeared to be a hand injury.

Two practices with Falcons in shorts and light shoulder pads. Unlike the Patriots' joint practices with the Saints, which were all held in full pads, the Patriots' two workouts with the Falcons were held in shorts and light shoulder pads. So there was no goal-line work or heavy hitting, which might have been Bill Belichick's way of lightening the load as he manages the health of his roster.
