* Run defense: Baltimore gained 233 rushing yards against the Broncos last week, and, if you remember, plowed over the New England defense on the ground in last year’s playoff victory to the tune of 234 yards rushing.
* Turnover differential: Ravens have just 3 takeaways and 9 giveaways. Their minus-6 differential tied for 30th-worst in the NFL. This is an area the Patriots will need to capitalize on.
* Energy and emotion: Patriots will have to match the always-fired-up Ravens.
