FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Safety Patrick Chung, who was knocked out of Sunday's win over the Chargers in the first half with a knee injury, was not spotted at the start of Wednesday's practice.
Chung had walked through the locker room earlier in the day without a noticeable limp as it looks like he avoided a serious, long-range injury. Yet based on his absence from the start of practice, he still might be in jeopardy of missing some time.
Veteran defensive lineman Vince Wilfork also wasn't spotted at the start of practice, along with safety Jarrad Page (calf), running back Fred Taylor (toe) and receiver Matthew Slater (ankle).
With rain in the region, the Patriots practiced inside the Dana-Farber Field House.
