Branch's hamstring limits his work

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots receiver Deion Branch was limited in Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury, while reserve defensive lineman Mike Wright was held out of the workout because of a knee injury.

Both players had participated in Wednesday's practice.

Meanwhile, safety Patrick Chung (knee) and receiver Matthew Slater (ankle) were limited in their participation. Both had been knocked out of Sunday's win over the Chargers.

Running back Fred Taylor (toe injury) and safety Jarrad Page (calf) remained out of practice.

For the Vikings, quarterback Brett Favre (foot/ankle) did not practice. Guard Steve Hutchinson (quadriceps), did not practice Wednesday, returned Thursday but was limited.
