DETROIT -- Next up, the New York Jets.
The Patriots have won three games in 12 days and now they have a 10-day break before hosting the Jets on Dec. 6 in a highly anticipated "Monday Night Football" clash.
"I really haven't thought about it yet," defensive lineman Vince Wilfork said in the victorious Patriots locker room. "I will probably think about it tomorrow, but one thing I do know -- it's a division game, it's the Jets, a tough football team who beat us the first time."
Wilfork, whose confidence in his own team is growing, likes the way the Patriots are playing.
"I think if we play the way we need to play, we'll be OK," he said. "The good thing about it is that we have a few extra days to get started on them, and put a little more emphasis on certain things. That will help us. But for now, I'm going to enjoy Thanksgiving, getting back home for Thanksgiving, and I'll have more next week for you on the Jets."
