FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick did not reveal details on why rookie defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick was suspended by the team Monday.
"Whatever is between the player and the team will stay between the player and the team," he said during his Wednesday news conference.
Deaderick's suspension, coupled with injuries, have left the Patriots thin along the defensive line. The team signed Atiyyah Ellison on Tuesday and he was in the locker room Wednesday, preparing for his first practice with the team. Ellison will wear No. 93.
