Final Pats team meeting today

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick will have players in for a team meeting today, marking the final time the 2010 club will be together.

From a media perspective, the schedule looks like this:

10 a.m. -- Bill Belichick news conference

1 p.m. -- Media access to locker room

Moments after the Patriots' loss to the Jets on Sunday, the page was already being turned, with players like left tackle Matt Light asked about his future (he's scheduled for unrestricted free agency) and running back Fred Taylor asked about the possibility of retirement. Veteran running back Kevin Faulk also walked through the locker room, which led one to ask the question: Will he be back?

Others, such as outside linebacker Rob Ninkovich, have lingering health questions. Ninkovich, who left Sunday's game in the second half, was scheduled to undergo an MRI on his left knee to see if he has ligament damage.

This is the day when players fill up large trash bags, cleaning out their lockers and saying goodbye to each other.

Often emotional, the day has come sooner than the Patriots hoped.
