Mike Wright is battling another concussion.Patriots defensive linemen Mike Wright suffered another concussion in Monday's season-opening win in Miami and was one of three players that did not participate in Wednesday's practice session.
The 29-year-old Wright, now in his seventh season with the Patriots, missed the final seven games last season due to a concussion and that makes Monday's head injury something to monitor moving forward. He appeared to sustain the latest injury on his final play Monday night in Miami when he was hit in the side of the helmet by Dolphins rookie lineman Mike Pouncey, who was pulling on a sweep run.
On the positive side for the Patriots, offensive linemen Sebastian Vollmer (back) was back on the practice field Wednesday as one of six players limited during the session, New England's first practice in advance of Sunday's home-opener against the San Diego Chargers.
