Source: Fisher, Tuinei moved to IR list

A day after being waived/injured by the Patriots, both offensive lineman Elvis Fisher and wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei passed through waivers unclaimed, reverting to the team's injured reserve list, according to a league source.

Neither player will count against the Patriots' 90-man roster. Tuinei, signed on Thursday, was on the practice field for just one session before suffering his injury. Fisher, meanwhile, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent following this year's draft. He had been on the field as recently as Saturday morning during the team's scrimmage, but he did not take part in it, spending part of the practice working on the stationary bike. The nature of each player's injury is not known.

The Patriots now stand at 88 players on the active roster.
