Revis: Brady still among the best

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Bucs cornerback Darrelle Revis, who is still recovering after tearing his ACL last September, on Tuesday shared a field with the Patriots, a team he became familiar with during his time with the Jets. It was Revis' first time partaking in a joint practice, but he said it wasn't weird to go up against a former rival. In fact, he even received words of encouragement from Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who was present for the on-field workout.

Revis can use Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as an example to follow, as Brady missed nearly the entire 2008 season after suffering an ACL tear of his own. He's been able to raise his game since the injury, and Revis believes Brady is still in the mix among the best quarterbacks in the leagues.

"Oh yeah. It's between him and Peyton Manning, but it's a good race between both of them," Revis remarked. "They're both great. I played against both of them. They're awesome quarterbacks. They're tough, they're tough to game plan against as well."
