TV: Gumbel-Dierdorf duo for Pats-Bills

The Patriots' season-opening game against the Bills will be broadcast on CBS, and Greg Gumbel (play-by-play), Dan Dierdorf (analysis) and Tracy Wolfson (sideline) will be on the call.

They are the No. 2 pairing at CBS this year. CBS' top team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, which called eight Patriots games last season, has been assigned the Bengals-Bears game in Week 1.

Gumbel and Dierdorf also called last year's first game between the Patriots and Bills, a 52-28 New England victory.

Although CBS has the AFC television package, the way the schedule unfolded this year has each of the team's first four games slated to be broadcast on a different network -- CBS, NFL Network, Fox and NBC.
