Catching up with former Patriots, Week 6

Every Wednesday, we'll lead off the day with a look at some notable former Patriots and their production. This is who we will be following:

WR Kenbrell Thompkins (Raiders) -- Was active in his Oakland debut, playing two offensive snaps, and didn't register on the stat sheet in a 31-28 home loss to the Chargers.

WR Brandon Lloyd (49ers) -- Veteran had one catch for an 80-yard touchdown in a road victory over the Rams. He now has seven catches for 189 yards and the one touchdown this season.

LB Brandon Spikes (Bills) -- Played 44 of 71 snaps in a home loss to the Patriots, totaling eight tackles. Has now played 222 of 420 defensive snaps on the season.

RB LeGarrette Blount (Steelers) -- Carried eight times for 27 yards in a road loss to the Browns, playing 11 of 78 offensive snaps. He now has 37 carries for 214 yards on the season.

G Logan Mankins (Buccaneers) -- Played all 70 offensive snaps in a blowout home loss to the Ravens.

LB Dane Fletcher (Buccaneers) -- Was back to a reserve role, playing six defensive snaps and 29 on special teams in a home loss to the Ravens. He finished with two tackles on defense and one on special teams.

QB Ryan Mallett (Texans) -- He served as the No. 2 quarterback behind Ryan Fitzpatrick in a home loss to the Colts and did not play.

LB Jeff Tarpinian (Texans) -- Played 17 snaps on defense and 19 on special teams in a home loss to the Colts. He finished with two tackles on defense.

WR Greg Salas (Jets) -- Started and played 47 of 63 offensive snaps in a home loss to the Broncos and finished with one catches for 27 yards. He has played in 193 of 398 snaps on the season and has eight catches for 167 yards, but is in jeopardy of missing Thursday's game against the Patriots due to injury.

TE Zach Sudfeld (Jets) -- Played 3 of 63 offensive snaps in a home loss to the Broncos, in addition to 25 special-teams snaps. He didn't register on the stat sheet and now played in 29 of 398 offensive snaps on the season.

TE Daniel Fells (Giants) -- Played 20 of 64 offensive snaps in a road loss to the Eagles, and finished with two catches for 40 yards. He has played 136 of 416 offensive snaps on the season.

TE Benjamin Watson (Saints) -- The Saints had a bye week. Watson has now played 168 of 368 offensive snaps and has nine catches for 64 yards on the season.

CB Darius Butler (Colts) -- Nickel cornerback was inactive due to injury in a road win over the Texans. He has played 196 of 365 defensive snaps and has 16 tackles and three passes defended on the year.

C Rich Ohrnberger (Chargers) -- The 2009 Patriots fourth-round pick started at center in a road win over the Raiders as he returned after missing two games due to injury. He had also started in Weeks 2 and 3 in place of injured Nick Hardwick.

G Ted Larsen (Cardinals) -- The 2010 sixth-round draft pick started at left guard for the fifth straight game and played every snap in a home win over the Redskins.

DL Tommy Kelly (Cardinals) -- He played in 55 of 60 defensive snaps in a home win over the Redskins. Kelly has now played 251 of 358 defensive snaps over five games.

CB Aqib Talib (Broncos) -- He played 53 of 63 defensive snaps in a road win over the Jets, notching a pick-six to help seal the result. He finished with four tackles and two passes defended. Talib has played 340 of 359 defensive snaps in five games this season, with seven passes defended and 19 tackles.

WR Wes Welker (Broncos) -- Played 33 of 70 offensive snaps in a road win over the Jets, finishing with one catch for 8 yards. He has played 148 of 223 offensive snaps in his three games this year, and has 14 catches for 126 yards.

QB Brian Hoyer (Browns) -- The Browns (3-2) defeated the Steelers as Hoyer managed the offense nicely in finishing 8 for 17 for 217 yards and one touchdown.

TE Matthew Mulligan (Bears) -- He is a free agent after being released by the Bears following Week 2 (he had played 25 of a possible 134 snaps).

RB Danny Woodhead (Chargers) -- He sustained a broken fibula in his right leg in Week 3 against the Bills and was then placed on season-ending injured reserve.

QB Matt Cassel (Vikings) -- Was placed on season-ending injured reserve with fractured bones in his foot. That has opened the door for Teddy Bridgewater to start for the Vikings in the job he was being groomed to assume.
