2015 New England Patriots preseason schedule

The following is the New England Patriots' 2015 preseason schedule, with specific dates to be announced at a later date:

Week 1 (Aug. 13-17): vs. Packers

Week 2 (Aug. 20-24): at Saints

Week 3 (Aug. 27-30): at Panthers

Week 4 (Sept. 3-4): vs. Giants

The Patriots have enjoyed the experience of having joint practices with opponents in recent preseasons, and this sets the stage to possibly do the same with the Packers (at home) and Saints (on road).

Bill Belichick has spoken of the great respect he has for Packers coach Mike McCarthy, and an early August Patriots-Packers setup at Gillette Stadium could be a highlight. Also, Belichick and Saints coach Sean Payton have a strong working relationship and the clubs have had joint practices in the past.

"If it works, it works. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. We’ll see how it goes," Belichick said in March when asked about joint practices. "We’ll do the best we can whatever opportunities we have and make the most out of them. I don’t think that’s anything we’ll lose sleep over, either.”

Each Patriots preseason game will be broadcast on the Patriots' preseason network (WBZ-TV in Boston).
