Mike Lowell continued to rehab with Triple-A Pawtucket on Sunday, going 0-for-5 as the designated hitter.
On Saturday, Lowell played first base and went 4-for-4 with three doubles.
Red Sox manager Terry Francona has been speaking with PawSox manager Torey Lovullo and the reports on Lowell have been good.
"Torey said [Lowell] took a bunch of ground balls at third the other night, and actually looked really good," Francona said Saturday. "He moved around real well and threw real well."
The Tigers have expressed interest in acquiring Lowell, a source told ESPNBoston.com's Joe McDonald.
