Still want to trade Mike Lowell?
Lowell belted three home runs for Triple-A Pawtucket Tuesday night in Toledo while on a rehab assignment.
Lowell had a two-run homer in the first, a solo shot in the third and another two-run blow in the eighth.
In his four-game stint with the PawSox, Lowell is hitting .471. The Sox return home from the West Coast on Friday, and it seems a good bet Lowell will be activated then.
"It felt real good," Lowell told Toledo TV station WTVG. "I welcome the at-bats. I really haven't had consistent at-bats all year.
"A day like today is special. I don't care what level you're at. I'll take this any time."
The last two PawSox hitters to hit three home runs in a game were Jonathan Van Every and Brandon Moss in 2008, the team said.
