It's not really a Manny Pacquiao fight if he doesn't make a pre-fight appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

So, of course, before the biggest Pacquiao fight of them all, his long-awaited showdown with Floyd Mayweather on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Pacquiao will return to the show on Wednesday night (ABC, 11:35 p.m. ET).

The appearance will be Pacquiao's ninth on the popular late-night talk show that has produced many funny moments since the week before he faced Miguel Cotto in 2009 and crooned the Dan Hill-penned hit ballad "Sometimes When We Touch." Pacquiao has also sung duets with Kimmel and Will Ferrell, and starred in a hilarious parody of HBO's "24/7" with Kimmel sidekick Guillermo. Pacquiao was also on the show on March 11 following the Los Angeles press conference that announced Mayweather-Pacquiao.

No word on whether Pacquiao will once again sing.
