Tyrod Taylor to start for Bills against Cleveland Browns

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Rex Ryan will continue his quarterback rotation by starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor in next Thursday's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns.

"He is going to get a lot of the first reps," Ryan said. "So we will do it business as usual, but he will be getting the first shot at it so he will probably be getting a few more reps."

Ryan did not reveal which quarterback will replace Taylor in the game.

With EJ Manuel taking the first reps of the Bills' intrasquad scrimmage last Saturday and Matt Cassel starting Friday night's loss to the Carolina Panthers, Ryan left his options open for the Bills' third preseason game, against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Why don't we wait and we will figure it out," Ryan said. "So we will see. ... I am not going to back myself into a corner and say I am absolutely going to start this guy."

Taylor went 5-of-8 passing for 49 yards and ran six times for 47 yards in Friday's preseason loss to Carolina. He led the Bills' second-team offense to two touchdowns on four possessions.
