PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills have experienced a run of injuries in practice over the past week and in last Friday's preseason loss that has left their depth at skill positions and along the defensive front seven thinned considerably.
Here is a look at where the Bills stood health-wise at those positions by the end of Monday's joint practice with the Cleveland Browns:
Wide receiver:
Sammy Watkins: Watkins left Monday's practice with soreness in his glute. The second-year receiver underwent groin surgery in the offseason and has dealt with soreness in that area at various points in training camp.
Percy Harvin: Harvin has been out since last Wednesday with soreness in his hip. Coach Rex Ryan said Sunday to expect Harvin at practice Monday, but he was not on the field. Perhaps that will change Tuesday.
Marquise Goodwin & Chris Hogan: Both receivers left Monday's practice with heat-related issues but both are expected back for Tuesday night's practice.
Marcus Easley: Easley suffered a Grade 1 MCL injury in Friday's preseason loss; it's unclear how long he'll be out.
Tobais Palmer: Palmer was carted off the field Sunday with heat-related issues and remained out of practice Monday.
Healthy players: Robert Woods, Andre Davis, Dez Lewis, Deonte Thompson, Marcus Thipgen (practiced at running back Monday)
Running back:
Fred Jackson: Jackson has been out since Aug. 7 and is expected to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring injury. That would mean he could return as soon as this weekend.
Boobie Dixon: Dixon has been out since Aug. 3 with a calf injury and could miss about a month.
Bryce Brown: Brown left Sunday's practice with a hamstring injury and didn't practice Monday; it's unclear when he will return.
Karlos Williams: The rookie was hospitalized Monday morning after waking up in pain; his condition is unclear.
Healthy players: LeSean McCoy, Bronson Hill
Defensive tackle:
Kyle Williams: The captain left last Monday's practice with a bruised quad and was expected to miss a few days; he's now been out a week. It's unclear when he will return.
Stefan Charles & Corbin Bryant: Charles missed Friday's preseason game with an undisclosed injury and Bryant left that game with a knee injury, but both players were back at practice Monday.
Healthy players: Marcell Dareus, Bryant, Charles, Andre Fluellen, Jeremy Towns, Justin Hamilton
Defensive end:
Alex Carrington: Carrington has been out since last week with a shoulder injury; it's unclear when he will return.
Jarius Wynn: Wynn suffered a serious ACL injury in Friday's preseason loss and is expected to miss the entire season.
Healthy players: Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes, IK Enemkpali, Andrew Hudson, Cedric Reed, B.J. Larsen, Erik Williams
Outside linebacker:
Healthy players: Manny Lawson, Randell Johnson, Michael Buchanan
Inside linebacker:
Ty Powell: Powell was carted off the field during Monday's practice with a possible torn ACL. If confirmed, he will miss the season.
Jimmy Gaines: Gaines has been out of practice since last week; at one point he had his arm in a sling. It's unclear when he will return.
Healthy players: Preston Brown, Nigel Bradham, Tony Steward, A.J. Tarpley
