Bills' Sammy Watkins might not play; Karlos Williams 'a reach' to play

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Despite taking part in individual drills with receivers, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins was listed as not having participated in Thursday's practice.

"He's getting close," head coach Rex Ryan said after practice. "So we'll see how he does, but he's feeling a lot better and it won't be long. I don't know if it will be Sunday or not, but it's not gonna be much longer."

Running back LeSean McCoy remained out of practice Thursday, as did running back Karlos Williams.

"I guess anything is possible [when] you're in the [concussion] protocol," Ryan said of Williams. "But the fact that he never practiced today, with a concussion, is -- I don't know -- is probably a reach."
