Ralph Wilson celebrating 95th birthday

Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson turns 95 Thursday.

Wilson is tied with Tennessee's Bud Adams as the longest-tenured NFL owners. Both Wilson and Adams founded their respective franchises in 1959, the year before they began play in the American Football League.

Wilson, who lives in Grosse Point Shores, Mich., has been unable to attend Bills games this season, saying in a Sept. 15 statement that "travel continues to be a challenge for me."

Earlier this year, Wilson ceded organizational control of the Bills to CEO Russ Brandon, giving him the additional title of team president.
