Panthers DE Charles Johnson buys own ticket to Sunday's game vs. Titans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- What's it like when you're on injured reserve and decide to attend a road game on your own?

You buy your own ticket.

That's what Carolina Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson, who won't be eligible to play until a Thanksgiving Day game at Dallas, experienced on Sunday at Tennessee's Nissan Stadium.

Johnson has been on injured reserve since severely aggravating his hamstring in the third game. He was cleared to return to practice this week and looks as if he'll be ready to step back into the starting lineup in two weeks.
Meanwhile, Johnson has been a fan. He took this picture on Saturday night of the bridge that leads to the Titans' stadium lit up in the colors of the French flag to show support for the terrorist attacks in Paris. Johnson also paid his own way to attend Carolina's victory at Seattle last month. He met up with NASCAR driver Ty Dillon, a big Panthers fan, inside the stadium.
